Samsung與Cisco簽訂10年交叉授權協定

Samsung 6 日宣布與 Cisco 簽訂 10 年交叉授權協定。

在與 Google 簽訂交叉授權之後，Samsung 6 日又在官方部落格宣布已與 Cisco 達成 10 年專利交叉授權協議，而且立即生效。在此協議下，雙方都可取用彼此在業界的專利。Cisco 和 Samsung 的專利授權除了包含現有的所有專利外，也將授權彼此使用未來 10 年申請的專利。

另外，Cisco 也在 2 天前已與 Google 簽訂了交叉授權。這讓三方合作更為緊密，也讓三方擁有的 Android 相關專利、網通和行動網路的專利可以交叉使用，降低受到專利訟訴的可能性。

Google 和 Samsung 最近常與其他夥伴公司交叉授權，這可能是感受到 Apple 和 Microsoft 合組的 Rockstar 公司所擁有的北電專利的威脅，因此積極與相關領域的公司結盟。
